Upcoming Events: Reebok Summer Classic, WVU Jam Fest, Nike AAU Super Showcase, and most of the players will attend at least one session of the prestigious Eastern Invitational Basketball Camp run by The Hoop Group (www.hoopgroup.com)

Congratulations to Team NJABC u16 team for making the Gold quarterfinals at Pitt Jam Fest, winning the silver bracket championship at the Providence Jam Fest, and for making the gold semi-finals at the Southern Invitational Jam Fest. Additionally, Team NJABC made the Gold finals at the Reebok Summer Classic losing a hard fought battle to NY Panthers, the semi-finals at the Playaz Joe Brown Classic, and the semi-finals of the Nike AAU Super Showcase Silver bracket. The team had a great year, and all members of the team are being actively recruited by multiple D1 programs. A great year all the way around!!

U16 Head Coach & U17 Assistant Coach - Matt Pauls is a founding member of Team NJABC; he is a pharmaceutical industry executive. He has a BS and MBA from Central Michigan University, and is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Law earning a Juris Doctorate degree. Matt played college basketball at Nazareth College (Kalamazoo) and has coached at the high school level, as well as in the youth basketball and AAU/grassroots world, for over 15 years. Matt has coached AAU state title teams, and led his teams to numerous national tournament championships. He runs training camps throughout New Jersey, and works closely with Kevin Boyle of St. Pats in conducting clinics. He is on the Board of Directors for the Adidas Phenom Camps, is Chairman of the Primetime Shootout Advisory Board, and founded Northstar Basketball, LLC. Matt was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Greater Trenton Area YMCA. He is married and has one child.
